The Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club Inc., (the “Club”), serving as Personal Information Controller (“PIC”) uphold its commitment to privacy. This privacy notice is hereby adopted in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other relevant issuances. The Club is committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what information we hold. This notice shall inform you of our data protection and security measures, and may serve as your guide in exercising your rights under the DPA.
The Club has partnered with PILIPINAS TELESERV, INC., serving as the Personal Information Processor (“PIP”), a company providing Business Process Outsourcing Services, for the development, operational and technical maintenance and upgrade of the web-based, online tee time booking system (“Online Booking System”) which function is to provide members and guests (“data subjects”) ability to book their preferred tee time online.

SCOPE
This notice explains how the Club, as Personal Information Controller (“PIC”) handles the personal information of members and guests who are engaged in the web-based Online Tee Time Booking System which function is to provide Members & Guests (“data subjects”) ability to book their preferred tee time online. We may amend this notice from time to time, should it become necessary to do so in accordance with provisions of DPA.
SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA
This notice applies to Personal Data that the Club collects from or about you, through the methods described below from the following sources.

PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
a. Personal Information:
We may process sensitive personal information if it is needed for legitimate business objectives or if it is required to comply with applicable law. Sensitive personal information will not be collected, processed or transferred, except where adequate privacy protection mechanisms are in place and after having first obtained your informed consent, if required by law.
All data collected to the Members & Guests (“data subjects”) and are being used for the function of the Online Tee Time Bookings System are being stored and processed by the third-party service provider, Teleserv.
PURPOSE FOR INFORMATION COLLECTION
By providing any of your Personal Data to the Club whether, you hereby agree that the Club
shall collect, process and retain the Personal Data for the following purposes:
a. In general, personal information of members and guest and/or other users (“Personal
Information”), shall be collected for purposes of making and managing reservations
made through the Online Booking System.
b. Contact number/s and email addresses will be used for sending notifications and
updates about the status of the reservation.
c. Date of Birth of the Member’s “dependents” will be used to verify qualification for
dependent status.
d. Senior citizen ID and World Handicap System ID may be collected to verify qualification
for applicable discounts.
e. Any changes in your personal information you made in your account profile will be
considered and used by the Club for the purpose of your Club Membership.
ACCURACY
We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is accurate, complete, and current.
Please note that you have shared responsibility with regard to the accuracy of your personal
information. Please notify the Club of any changes to your personal information or that of your
dependents.
DATA PRIVACY RIGHTS
a. Informed. As a Data Subject, you have the right to be informed that our personal data will
be collected and processed.
b. Access, Rectification and Data Portability. You may reasonably access the personal
information pertaining to you that is on file with the Club. You also have the right to
request that we correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal information.
To the extent required by applicable law, you may also request that we transmit personal
information you have provided to us to you or to another company.
c. Objection. We respect your right to object to any uses or disclosures of your personal
information that are not (i) required by law, (ii) necessary for the fulfillment of a
contractual obligation (your employment contract), or (iii) required to meet a legitimate
need of the Club as an employer. If you do object, we will work with you to find a
reasonable accommodation. You may also withdraw your consent at any time in relation
to our processing of personal information based on your consent.
d. Erasure. You may request the erasure, blocking or deletion of your personal information
as provided by applicable law. This applies, for instance, where your information is
outdated; where the processing is not necessary or is unlawful; where you withdraw your
consent to our processing based on such consent; or where we determine we should
accommodate an objection you have raised to our processing. In some situations, we may
need to retain your personal information pursuant to our legal obligations or for the
establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
e. File a Complaint. If you feel that your personal information has been misused, maliciously
disclosed, or improperly disposed, or that any of your data privacy rights have been
violated, you have a right to file a complaint.
f. Damages. You may claim compensation if you suffered damages due to inaccurate,
incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of personal data.

The Club may refuse to act or may impose limitations on your rights if, for instance, your request is likely to adversely affect the rights and freedoms of the Club or others, prejudice the execution or enforcement of the law, interfere with pending or future litigation, or infringe applicable law.
USING AND DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Without limiting the provisions, we may transfer the information you submit to us to other
entities, security organizations, government agencies, banking organizations, other relevant
organizations including those that perform administrative and/or other services on our behalf.

The Club employ appropriate organizational, technical, and physical security measures to protect
the Personal Data you provide against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss,
alteration, access, disclosure, or use and other unlawful forms of processing.
RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
You understand and agree that, if your current Membership ceases, the Club may retain your
personal data for a maximum period of seven years from the date when your Membership ceased,
provided that the data may be retained for a longer period if there is a subsisting reason that
obliges the Club to do so, or the data are necessary for the Club to fulfill its contractual, legal or
regulatory obligations.
Your Personal Data is controlled by the Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club, Inc., a company
registered under Philippine laws, whose principal office is at 1 Southwoods Ave., Cabilang Baybay,
Carmona, Cavite, 4116 Philippines and stored and processed by the Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc., a
corporation duly organized and existing under Philippine laws, whose principal office is at the 4th
floor, San Diego Building, 462 Carlos Palanca Street, Quiapo, Manila.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the rights and obligations contained hereunder shall be governed
by and construed in accordance with the laws of Philippines. The courts of Philippines shall have
the exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any suit or proceeding, and to settle any dispute
or claim, which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and the parties
hereby irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
